Glenn is a manager, writer and community organizer experienced in collaborating with organizations that have various and diverse missions – from government and non-profits to small businesses and corporations.
As the long-time former Executive Director of Sullivan Renaissance, he was responsible for day-to-day management and coordination of the program throughout Sullivan County, including grant making, fundraising, sponsorships, staff supervision and public information. He represented the Gerry Foundation on several Sullivan County boards.
He began work with the Gerry Foundation in 2000 as Director of Communications, helping to plan and create the music pavilion and museum at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and handling press communications. Prior to that he was Director of Communications for the County of Sullivan; News Director for WVOS Radio in Liberty; and Editor of The River Reporter in Narrowsburg, where he established, built, managed and edited the award-winning weekly newspaper.
Glenn presently sits on the boards of the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway, the Sunshine Hall Free Library, the Scenic Wild Delaware River Stewardship Council and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County.
He and his wife, Araceli, live along the Delaware River in Barryville, NY. “I like to walk, hike and canoe – and my hope is to learn fly fishing from the most skilled anglers in the world,” he says.
